Founded on Faith,Built on Love
El Bethel Church was established in 1978 in Kallukoottam village, Tamil Nadu, founded by Pastor Joseph in a humble rented building for just ₹75 per month. The name "El Bethel" comes from Genesis 35:7, where Jacob "built there an altar... and called the place El‑bethel."
Through faithful leadership transitions including V. Sachariah, Mother M. DevaNesam, and later S. Isaac Raj, the ministry expanded and acquired its own building in 2000. By 2003, it became formally registered as El Bethel Trust (Reg. No: BK IV 31/2016).
Today, operated by around 250 dedicated members, El Bethel Trust focuses on outreach and social services including supporting education for children, feeding widows and orphans, aiding the poor, assisting missionaries, cancer patient relief, and funding church construction across Tamil Nadu and other Indian states.
